The media promotes Racial stereotypes.

The media plays a significant role in the the promotion of stereotypes in minorities
through the use of television shows, news, and the entertainment system .

When it pertains to minorities, the news doesnt broadcast them in a positive
light.

The problem is minorites
black males in particular
and the stereotypes,
they are associated with

factors for their deaths.

fatally shot and
killed by the
police despite
being just 13
percent of the
U.S.
population.

Of all of the unarmed people

shot and killed by police in
201540 percent of them were
black men, even though black men
make up just 6 percent of the
nations population.

I decided the best way to fight this issue is to start by fighting in my very own
backyard, defeating the negative stereotypes of Garinger High School.
