Oral Project: Students will draw a map of North
America. Then they will name:
The countries.
The geographical features
The surrounding waters.

NORTH AMERICA

There are many countries in

North America. Canada and
Mxico, are big countries.
Central America has many
smaller countries that are also
part of North America.
 LANDFORMS

A landform is a kind of land with a

special shape. There are many
types of landforms in North
America: plains, hills, mountains,
peninsula and islands.
 Plains: A plain is a flat. Example:
The Great Plains in the United
States.
Hills: a land that rises above the
land around it.
Mountains: is a very big hill.
Peninsula: A land that has water
around it.
Island: is a landform with water
all around it.
Gulf: A large body of water partly
surrounded by land.
