Facts about satellites
- They are used for things like TV signals, GPS, weather
predictions, monitoring the planet and telephone calls.
- Sputnik 1 was the first ever satellite launched into space
- It takes 3500$ for the materials to build a satellite and takes a
little over 1.5million$ to sustain it up in the space annually.
- There are 500000 small satellites and 2100 large satellites.
