CARBON STEEL SEAMLESS PIPES

Carbon steel is one of the alloys that has most hardening properties as compared to any other alloys
due to its high quality forging technique, along with an increase in its additive metals which adds to
resistant and ductile properties of the alloy. Use of heat treatments and cold hardening methods can
help turning the alloy into a variant suitable for many areas of applications. Addition of metals like
chromium makes it suitable for use in applications, where constant contact with strong soluble liquids
corrode ordinary surfaces.

Carbon Steel Seamless pipes are forged using specific methods that turns them into into the final result
which is a pipe made without any visible lining of welding or joining seen. It is done by using metal sheet
stock of needed thickness, which is first put in a U shaped press followed by a O shaped press which
completes molding it. Use of a electrode and O shaped die comes into play where the electrode uses a
fusing method to join the two ends of the pipes by melting both the ends of the sheet. The pipes are
very resistant to corrosion and do not experience any crevice cracking either.
