ophthalmology and optometry.

Fluorescein is a synthetic organic


compound available as a dark
orange/ yellow water-soluble
dibasic dye of xanthine series.

(1) Obvious Globe rupture
(2) Corneal perforation
(3) Full thickness eye laceration
(4) Hypersensitivity to Fluorescein
(5) Dont use topically with soft contact lenses as lenses may get discolored
