Polyarthritis
Polyarthritis is any type of arthritis that involves 2 or
more joints simultaneously.
Pain
Swelling
Redness
Warmth
Restricted Movement

Medicine , pg no. 1101)

PREVALENCE

The frequency of sero-negative polyarthritis in the general

population has not been estimated using longitudinal
populations survey, and therefore remains speculative. If
25% of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients are considered RF
negative and 1% of total population as rheumatoid
arthritis, than the estimated population prevalence of sero-
negative polyarthritis would be 0.25% the population
frequency of sero-negative polyarthritis likely ranges
between 0.03% to 0.25% depending on the diagnostic
criteria employed

Among the age group of 18 and above affected.
