Dental disease affects millions of people

worldwide.
Tooth decay, periodontal disease, dental pulp
infection and inflammatory root resorption can
result in tooth loss and seriously compromise
human health and quality of life.
In the past few years, the improvement of tissue
engineering in the dental field has achieved
relevant results.

-Low Intensity Pulse Ultrasonic
LIPUS helps accelerate OTM, which will help
decrease the risk of gingival inflammation,
decalcification, dental caries and root resorption.
LIPUS is a form of physical energy that can be
delivered into living tissue as ultrasonic vibrations.
The alternating pressure is translated into an
extracellular mechanical force at the cell membrane.
This results in the initiation of osteoclasts and
osteoblasts.
LIPUS frequency: 1.5 MHz;
intensity 30mW/cm 2
Applied to the orthodontic
brackets for 20 min per day
The wave is transmitted into
the desired bone remodeling
treatment site: the
cementum, periodontal
ligament and alveolar bone
engagement area.
LIPUS minimizes
orthodontically induced
tooth root resorption by
enhancing dentin and
cementum deposition
thereby forming a preventive
layer against root resorption.
LIPUS can also be used to accelerate
osseointegration of implants onto the
surrounding bones as quickly as possible.
Essentially cutting down on healing time.
