Improved national prisons conducive to the
reformation and rehabilitation of inmates that will bring them back into the mainstream of society as useful citizens of the country. MANDATE ANF FUNCTIONS The BUREAU OF CORRECTIONS is an agency under the Department of Justice that is charged with custody and rehabilitation of national offenders, that is, those sentences to serve a term of imprisonment of more than three (3) years.
