Our script

Planning
Drafting
All of our script work was done on Google
Documents, as it allowed us to comment our ideas
on the script in a way that everyone could see, as
well as discuss the comments themselves. We feel
that this was an effective way to write our script
with equal contribution, and that we got the best
end product we could.
Draft 1
Chey wrote this draft as an initial template for our
script. The first thing we looked at was the voiceover
we had written for Milo. We felt that the initial dialogue
was too formal, and therefore didnt reflect the overall
personality of the character. The next things we
looked at were the camera angles and the transitions.
We decided to focus on the basics of our script so that
our second draft would be easier to refine. The first
draft set out the basic structure of our script, rather
than what we wanted our trailer to be.
Draft 2
Our second draft focused more on the finer details
of the script, such as transitions and the settings of
our scenes. We used this draft to create an image
of the scene, and to use the descriptions to
accurately create the vision we had for our script.
We followed the same pattern of reading though
our script as a group, but this time we discussed
how we wanted the characters and settings to
look and feel from the audiences perspective.
