1. COUNTABLE NOUN
Countable nouns are for things we can
count using numbers. They have a singular
and a plural form. The singular form can use
the determiner "a" or "an". If you want to ask
about the quantity of a countable noun, you
ask "How many?" combined with the plural
countable noun.
Countable noun adalah kata benda yang
menunjukkan pada benda yang jumlahnya
dapat dihitung. Ada 2 macam countable noun
yaitu :
1. Singular : Bendanya hanya berjumlah 1 {
menggunakan a atau an}
2. Plural : Bendanya berjumlah lebih dari 1 {
menggunakan simbol angka,
ex: two, three, ect}
Singular Plural
a dog two dogs
an apple three apples
one teacher four teachers
a plate two plates
a pen five pens
Example :
a. Singular:
1. I have a house
2. This is a pen
3. I bought four history books yesterday.
4. How many animals are there ?
5. I have two sisters, her name is Dina and Dita
