DEFINITION
Goal Setting is …
The Act of
defining:

• Driven by alignment with existing Corporate Strategy
• Assisted by realization of personal aspirations
• Must be anchored on a vision (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
• Must be SMART
• Must be a “stretch” goal, tied to the understanding of a technical limit
 Increase SALES REVENUE by 100%
 Make a product with zero defect
 Clear restaurant tables within 2 minutes
 Send a man to the moon within the next 10 years
• Vision must be analyzed and broken down into component parts to be
manageable
• Keep SAYING and SEEING the vision=Make it a LIVING REALITY!

• Schedule must be also align with Corporate Strategy
