Cady has 62 erasers. She wants to share them


with the class. She gets 19 bags to put an equal
amount erasers in. How many erasers will each
class member get?

Marcos has 40 cookies. He wasnt to put them in


2 different bags. How many will go in each bag?

What is the term that refers to the lengths of
all an objects sides?
Perimeter!
If an ant were to walk all the way around the
edge of your table, it would have walked the
perimeter of your desk.
So if I were to ask you to find the perimeter
how might you go about doing that?

Thats right! We can measure each of the sides


and add them all up.
So now
We are going to find the perimeter of a piece
of paper in inches, but first we are going to
make an estimation.

My first step would be to measure all the sides


and record them.

The first page will focus on estimating and


measuring the perimeter of objects around the
classroom. The following worksheets will focus
on converting measurements.

We will split into two groups for this workshop.


Group 1 will work on Reflex, while group two will
begin their pages.
So you finished both parts early
If you did not finish your final draft from last
week, you may work on that.
