Culture of Peace

What is Culture of Peace?

It is the most elusive goal in social and political life.
It may refer to the absence of war.
One should be in harmony with nature, God, self, and others in the
community.
It is a state where there is predominance of truth, honesty, and justice.
Education for peace requires understanding and practice, reflection
and action.
It is insufficient to merely understand conflict and violence.
Each one is responsible to act and create peace within or in his being.
Actions toward peace should be based upon an objective
understanding of the cause/s of conflict and violence.
