Overview
In the modern world, the flow of information controls a
majority of who gets where.
So why shouldnt it be available to the rest of the world?
Companies and Countries are in consensus, like Facebook
and Finland providing wifi for everyone as a right
So is wifi a human right?
What are human rights?

They are the basic rights and freedoms that all people
are entitled to regardless of nationality, sex, race,
religion and language.

Three specific rights that link to our topic :


- The right to freedom of speech
- The right to knowledge
- The right to freedom of assembly

Promotes interconnectedness and ability to organize
The Internet is getting less free

Promotes governmental transparency

Promotes freedom of information and thought
Tool for liberation and democratization

Will create many concerns and roadblocks
WiFi/Internet is an enabler of rights, not a right itself
Can create mass security issues
Our Opinion
The importance of spreading knowledge and
promoting interconnectedness outweighs the
potential issues associated with it.
