Spanish is the language
Language
There are approximately 406 million people that speak Spanish as
their native language making it second to Mandarin in terms of
number in native speakers worldwide.
It has approximately 60 million people as their second language and
about 20 million people uses it as a foreign language.
Language
Spanish is one of the six official languages in the United Nations and is
used as the official language by European union and Mercosur
Today, Spanish fashion is very modern but traditional Spanish
clothing is still worn for special events.
Flamenco performers still dawn typical Spanish dresses in red, black,
or white with their hair in a bun and a flower (typically a rose) behind
their ear.
CLOTHINGS AND COSTUMES
The male flamenco performers traditional costumes come are made
up of black or red tuxedos shirts and classic slacks.
Most traditional Spanish clothing is reserved for special events and
celebrations. The most common pieces, still used today, include:

Mantilla: The mantilla is a traditional Spanish veil piece that is often


worn during religious celebrations such as Spanish weddings. It is a
light lace or silk scarf that is worn over the head or shoulders on a
high comb and held in place by pins.
Peineta: The peineta is a large decorative comb placed in the hair to
hold up the mantilla. It is usually tortoiseshell colored with a curved
body and long prongs to increase height. The peineta, used on
special occasions, originated centuries ago making it a traditional
piece of Spanish clothing.
Gilet: The word gilet comes from the Spanish word jileco (from Arabic
word yalka), or chaleco in modern Spanish. It is a sleeveless jacket,
much like a waistcoat or vest that forms an important part of
traditional Spanish clothing. Historically they were fitted and
embroidered and in the 19th century the gilet was dress bodice
shaped like a mans waistcoat. Contemporary gilets are used for
additional warmth outdoors.

Architecture
Ancient place and architecture complex in South Spain Granada is
famous for its wonderful scenery.
It has about 13 hectares of buildings and art that found to have
beauty shown through its details.

Music
The music of Spain contains lots of history and had contributed to the
development of Western Music and had a strong influence to Latin
American type of genre.
The country is often shown to be associated with classical styles of
musical art such as Flamenco and Guitar.
Roman Catholicism
With the Spanish history of globalization, Catholicism is found to be
advocated with it.
Thus, the spread of this religion was greatly credited to the Spanish
colonisation making it the largest denomination of Christianity in the
World.
Spanish Politics
Executive power is practiced by the government of Spain which is
integrated by the Prime Minister, the Deputy of the Prime Minister,
and the other ministers which are collectively formed as the Cabinet
of the Country.
Legislative power is given to the General Court a bicameral parliament
constituted by the congress of deputies and the senate.

Judiciary is independent from the executives and the legislative, thus
it is constituted to the king by the judges and magistrates.
Such this has also been applied to other countries as their

The House of Bernarda Alba
Bernarda Alba is a widow that has five daughters
She imposes an eight year mourning period upon her husbands death
which in turn caused her daughters to be isolated and be prohibited in
any kind of relationship
But Aguistas, the eldest of the siblings, has inherited large amount of
money which attracted Pepe el Romano, a handsome young man from
the village
Her sisters became jealous believing that it is unfair that she is rather
plain and sickly, but could receive both the inheritance and the freedom
to marry Pepe and escape the family
The youngest sister Adela which turns out to have a secret affair with
Pepe learns that her eldest sister married him
Distressed, Adela becomes increasingly volatile, deifying her mother and
quarrels with her sisters.
Tension explodes when the family hears the latest gossip around the
townabout a young woman who shamelessly delivered and killed the
baby believing it was Anguistas.
Bernarda peruses Pepe with a gun. A gun shot was heard implying that
Pepe has been killed
Adela shouts, runs and locks herself inside her room
Meanwhile, Pepe was able to escape, as Bernarda says she cant be
blamed for a poor aim.
The immediately called for Adela which did not respond. They forced
themselves inside her room and found out that she had hangged herself.
Keeping the familys reputation, Bernarda insisted that Adela died as a
virgin, a story that will keep the familys code and pride among the
Townspeople
