Who does Romeo love?


Who loves Romeo?
If a question word (i.e. who) is the subject of the question, you
don´t use do,does or did. Compare:

Who went to the party? (Who is the subject)

Who did you go with? (Who is the object – you is the subject)

Who saw him? (Who is the subject)

Who did he see? (Who is the object – He is the subject)


DYNAMIC MEANING They describe ACTIONS; something “HAPPENS.” We can
GROUP use them in simple forms to talk about “ROUTINES”, or
continuous forms to talk about activities in “PROGRESS”

I get up at 7:00 o`clock every day. (ROUTINE)

I have breakfast sometimes. (ROUTINE)


Verbs:
 Play
 Work I do exercise three times a day. (ROUTINE)
 Get up
 Make
I am having a wonderful experience. (IN PROGRESS)
 Do
 Have
 Take
She is taking an English course right now. (IN PROGRESS)
 Etc …
STATIVE MEANING They describe KNOWLEDGE, EMOTION OR
GROUP POSSESSION “HAVE”. We can not use
continuous forms.

Verbs:
 FEELINGS: hate, like, love, prefer, want
 POSSESSION: belong, have, own
 SENSES: feel, hear, smell, sound, taste
 APPEARANCE: appear, look (like), seem
 THOUGHTS: believe, think, understand,
know

I like pop and romantic music. I think English is fun and easy.

I have two brothers and one sister. I look like my grandmother.
