What is a chair ?
A chair is a furniture which had a flat plank which raised
commonly by four legs and have a back.

*Material that it was made of:

-Wood, metal, plastic, stone,...

*What do we do with it:

-The most common thing people do with chair were sitting.

The first ever chair:
 The first chair in the world are found in
Egypt, in a tombs as far back as 2680
B.C.
 It’s made out wood and
 covered with costly material.
Some other old chairs:
Chairs are everything:
 Chairs can be anything, it became when
you sat on an object that you think could
also be a chair.
 Example:
What else can with do with
chairs?
 The first wheel chair were invented by
John Dawson(1783).
 The most expensive chair in the world was
call Pininfarina Aresline Xten($1.5
million).
 A word chair came from ‘cathedral’, a
Latin word meaning ‘sit’ and ‘down’.
 The earliest known reference to the game
of Musical Chairs dates back to 1877.
