 Tumor cyst is a pouch containing fluid or semi liquid. Ovarian cysts
are cysts that flat and smooth surface, usually stemmed, often
bilateral and be large, thin walled, clear fluid that contains serous
and yellow.
 (Arif Mansjoer, 2000, Hal. 388)
 There are 2 clasification:
1) Cyst non neoplastic
 Follicular Cysts
These cyst can be single but often multiple, growing up to 3 cm
in diameter and protrude from the surface of the ovary.
 Lutel Cysts
These cysts are the result of the failure of the corpus luteum to
regress how it should be.
These cysts can grow up to 3 cm in diameter and containing
clear fluid.
2) Cyst Neoplastic
 Ovarian Cysts Simplex
These cysts are cysts that flat and smooth surface, usually
stemmed, often bilateral and can be great.
 Ovarian Cysts Denoma Musinosum
These cysts from teratoma. Multilokular Cyst from, usually
unilateral, can grow to be very large.
Assessment
 ign: -Weakness/fatigue
-Changes in the pattern of hours of rest and sleep habits at
night
 Ego Integrity
Sign: -How to cope with stress factors, hopeless, meaningless,
depression
 Flood/fluid
Sign: -Poor dietary habits, nausea, vomiting
-Changes in body weight
 Education
Sign: Family history of cysts
Diagnosis
1. Self-esteem disturbance related to the inability to have
children, change of feminity depression.
2. Frequency of urination or no urine out.
3. lack of knowledge about treatment-related needs less memory,
does not accurately follow the instruction.

Intervention
Purpose: Disturbance of self-eteem can be overcome
By increasing self esteem.
