•Cytoplasm has three main functions, energy, storage, and


manufacturing.
•It contains other organelles which store and produce energy.
•The cytoplasm maintains the shape and consistency of the cell,
and provides suspension to the organelles.
•All of the functions for cell expansion, growth and replication
are carried out in the cytoplasm of a cell.

•The cytoplasm is made of components that benefit the cell and


keep the organelles separate from one another.
•This helps to keep the cell stable.
