Giant Cel Tumor = Osteoclastoma ‘Agiant cell tumor one that is made up ofa large numberof benign non-cancerous cells ‘that form an aggressive tumor The location ofa giant cell tumor isoften inthe nee, but can also involve the bones ofthe arms ‘and the legs, ofthe lat Bones such as the ‘sternum (breastbone) or pelvis. In the United States and Europe, GCTs «represent approximately 5% of all primary bone tumors and 21% of all benig bone tumors. In China, GCTs account for 20% of all primary bone tumors. They are most prevalent after age 20 and are rare after age 55. Itis rare, but these tumors can occur in children. At any age, they are more ‘commonly seen in females than males. Bone fracture 5, Limited movement in the adjacent joint 6, Fluid accumulation in the joint adjacerit to the affected bone
