Dental Surgery

in
Anticoagulated
Patients
Abstrak
–Analysis of 12 documented
cases of postoperative
haemorrhage treated by
more than local measures
Dental treatment in patients
during withdrawal of

Conclusion
– Is time to stop interrupling warfin therapy for dental surgery.
– Although there is a theoretical risk of haemorrhage after dental surgery in
patients at therapeutic level of anticoagulation , the risk minimal, bleeding is
usually easily treated with local measures.
