Statistics – Remote System
• Fully operation remote system would consist of:
• Matrix switch(16x16)
• Based on Mostyn Enterprises 256x256 matrix switch.
• 4x4 quadrature lumped element hybrids
• 6x2 quadrature lumped element hybrids
• 9 power amplifiers
• 3 HF 1.6-30Mhz
• 6 VHF 30-512Mhz
• 1 fuel cell power generator
• 1 backup diesel generator
• 16 antennas – HF, VHF & UHF
• 16 cable drums with coaxial cable (100m)
• 2 cable drums with optic cable (500m-1000m)
• 1 order wire system for operator communication between remote site and main site
• Base system will able to handle 14 HF/VHF radios controlled by a 16x24 matrix switch.
• Expanded systems TBA
Matrix Switch
• The matrix switch is based on one of our standard designs and will suit the
overall requirement for the system, forming part of the switch will be
combiners, Frequency counters, bi-directional couplers, these form the test
capabilities and the safety checking system confirming the switch operates
in a safe manner including the associated equipment.
Statistics – Local System
• Fully operation local system would consist of:
• Local switching system to switch between local antennas and remote
system as required
• RF to fibre interface
• RF monitoring capabilities
• RF power attenuators with automatic output control
• Order wire system for communicating to remote location
