    Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (AIDP), an
    autoimmune disease affecting the peripheral nervous system that is
    usually triggered by an acute infectious process
    Etiologi
    • 6 minggu post infeksi (saluran napas atas atau gastroenterik)
    • Epstein-Barr virus, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Campylobacter jejuni,
    cytomegalovirus
    • Post Imunisasi
    • Post operatif atau trauma kepala  ↓ depresi imunitas termediasi
    sel & produksi antibodi antimyelin
    • Penyakit lain : systemic lupus erythematosus, sarcoidosis, lymphoma,
    snakebite
    • Kehamilan
    Epidemiologi
    • Eropa 1.2–1.9/100,000,
    • Dunia 0.6–4/100,000.
    • Pria 1,5x > Wanita
    • Insidensi meningkat dengan usia :
    • 1 per 100,000 (<30th) – 4/100,000 (>75th)
    • China, insidensi pd dewasa 0.66 /100,000.
