 In the year 1997, MAS had to deal with the Asian Financial Crisis

 Unable to make profit due to internal matter. Such matters include


increasing costs on staff, higher handling and landing fees for these
losses.

 In the year 2011, MAS was again linked to internal matter such as
mismanagement and higher fuel price.
After MH 370 Incident

 MAS ticket sales reduced dramatically.

 MAS had to compensate money to the families of the victims.

 Customers start choosing competitor airlines over MAS


After MH 17 Incident

 Ticket bookings declined even more than the MH 370 incident

 Around 500 employees resigned.

 Customer start to doubt MAS whether the airlines could be trusted or


not.

 MAS had to cut back around 6000 or more jobs, which makes the
employees loose hope in the airlines.
