 Karvy Limited includes a large no sub companies providing services
to the customers.
 Karvy services nearly 60% asset management companies.
 Karvy caters the market share of Rs.222,178.11 crores (approx.)
 Karvy services over 6 lakhs customer accounts in this business
 Karvy has a large network spread across over 250 cities/towns in
India and are ranked amongst the largest Depository Participants in
the country.

 To study about the Mutual Funds


 To elaborate the products offered by the

 To study benefits of mutual funds.
 To study Risk involved in Mutual fund

 To focus on Comparative study of the product.
 To study overall financial quotations of the
products

FINDINGS
Findings Related to the Limitations of the Company:

 No Control over Costs

 Investor has to pay investment management fees as long as he


remains in the fund.

 Company should make awareness of risk diversification through


portfolio managements

 The returns from the Mutual funds should be clearly mentioned.

 Crucial corporate information should be provided to the customers


with the help of fund managers.
FINDINGS
1. Findings Related to the benefits provided by the company:

 Karvy provides investment objectives for almost all types of investors.

 The income received by the Fund is not liable for deduction of tax at
source.

 No tax is required to be deducted at source on capital gains arising to


any resident Unit holder (under section 194K) vide circular no. 715
dated August 8, 1995 issued by the Central Board for Direct Taxes
(CBDT).

 Short term capital gains 40% plus surcharge and cess- says Karvy

 Rebate of securities transaction tax is paid by the company.


FINDINGS
2. Findings Related to the benefits provided by the company:
 Karvy uses state of art information technology in developing new and
innovative products and services to meet the changing needs of
investors and clients.

 Company strives to be a reliable source of value added support on


products and services offered and constantly guide individuals and
institutions in making judicious choice of same.

 Aim to become a leader in the areas of activities being undertaken, by


setting industry standards in efficiency and responsiveness thereby
exceeding levels of customer satisfaction.

 It also strives to keep all stake-holders (shareholders, clients,


investors, suppliers, customers, regulatory authorities and employees)
and business associates proud and satisfied
CONCLUSION
 Karvy is one of the largest Industry provideing various facilities under
one label having (approx) market share of Rs.222,178.11 crores .

 Karvy is facing very close competition with companies Like TATA


AIG, RELIANCE BANKING FUND and ICICI Prudential.

 Company should come up with some innovative Advertisement Ideas


so that customers could get aware of their latest plan changes &
other promotional schemes.

 Karvy needs to enhance their Customer Service & put more


transparency at lower end user.

 Still there is lot of scope for the growth specially in Commodity


Trade.What they need to come up with some innovative marketing
strategy.
