• Steps in Drawing Missing Views

• 1. Read carefully the given views. Draw projectors


from one view to another view to decide the
‘correspondences’ between points/lines/faces in one
view to points/lines/faces in other views.
• 2. Also, draw projectors from both the views for the
third view. The third view must be appropriately
located in relation to the existing views.
• 3. A small freehand isometric sketch may be drawn if
needed.
• 4. Draw the desired view by locating the required
points at the intersections of the projectors. The
visualization or the isometric sketch will help to draw
hidden features.
Given two complete views,
sketch in the missing view.
