a Diet that includes Meat

Benefits of having a Vegetarian Diet
❖ Saves lives of innocent animals,
from being killed and tortured
❖ No farm factories means no
harmful chemicals affecting us
and our environment
❖ Lowers the risk of heart disease
and keeps you healthy and
energized
A Diet that includes Meat

❖ Meat has a lot of protein


❖ Meat is one of the main sources
that contains vitamin B12
❖ A balanced diet that includes
meat and vegetables can also help
reduce the risk of getting heart
disease.
Counter- Why a diet with meat is
not as healthy as a vegetarian diet
❖ “According to Dr. Shah, the group on the vegan
diet saw a median decrease of 28% in an
inflammation maker known as high sensitive C-
reactive protein; the median decrease in the heart
association diet was 7%” (Lagnado, 17).
Counter-Why a vegetarian diet
is not better
❖ Even if a group of people stop eating meat and
become vegetarian, it doesn’t mean animals are
going to stop being killed. Be truthful would you
actually stop eating meat?
