NOUN PHRASE
 is a phrase which has a noun (or indefinite pronoun) as its head word
Examples :

Untuk frasa benda (Noun Phrase) yang terdiri lebih dari 2 kata,
penyusunannya mengikuti pola
D O E C H, O = Ordinative, meliputi :

yaitu : a. numerals (kata bilangan) : one, two, three …

D = Determiner, meliputi : b. kata sifat yang memiliki bentuk komparatif –er

dan superlative –est/ most dan very

a. article (kata sandang) : a, an, the …
misalnya :
b. possessive (kata ganti milik) : my, your, his …

c. demonstrative (kata ganti penunjuk) :

kata sifat yang biasa memiliki bentuk komparatif –er, more, most dan very,
tetapi dalam hal ini bentuk komparatifnya tidak dicantumkan

kata benda yang berfungsi sebagai kata sifat, misalnya :

kata utama/ pokok dalam frasa
 misalnya :

Apabila dalam suatu frasa benda terdapat
lebih dari satu epithet, kita mengurutkannya
dengan pola sbb :

Keterangan :
Di = Descriptive Enumerator, yaitu kata sifat seperti : bad, good, beautiful, pretty,
boring, interesting
Si = Size, yaitu ukuran seperti : big, small, wide, narrow, little, short, long
A = Age, yaitu umur seperti : new, old, young
T = Temperature, yaitu suhu seperti : hot, cold, cool, warm
Sha = Shape, yaitu bentuk seperti : round, flat, square, triangular
Co = Colour, yaitu warna seperti : black, red, green, yellow
