Differences Between
ல, ள and ழ…
 ல, ள and ழ
• May sound similar, but they are very different from each other.
• “ல் ” (il) will have a soft sound.
• “ள் ” (iLL) will have a harder sound.
• “ழ் ” (izh) will have a different sound altogether.
• Belong to idaiyinam (medium consonant).
• Only come at the ending of a word, not begin the word.
• If wrongly used, the meaning of a word will change.

• The first and foremost difference between 'ற் ' and
‘ர் ' is they being 'vallinam' (Hard consonant) and
'idaiyinam' (medium consonant).
