THE HISTORICAL ORIGIN.

France is considered one of the oldest states in the entire European continent,
the name as we know it today comes from the Middle Ages, prior to this, this
portion of land corresponded to Gaul, although its territory has been modified
throughout of the history of the humanity in several occasions due to the
European hegemonic wars, since this country tried to impose in repeated
occasions against almost all the countries of this continent.

imponerse en repetidas ocasiones contra casi todos los países de este continente.”
