The main challenge of hydrogen fuel is the production and storage of

Hydrogen as Hydrogen is not readily available in nature. Hydrogen Fuel
Stations have been set up and are readily being used in Japan, US and many
European countries by their government with the help of various
multinational companies such as Shell, UnoX, Air Liquide etc. In Bangladesh,
Hydrogen fuel stations can also be set up if these challenges can be tackled
properly. Bangladesh being a riverine country with easy access to large
amount of water, it is easy to produce hydrogen through basic electrolysis of
water. Plants can be placed near river banks for large-scale hydrogen
production. On-site hydrogen production plants can also be set up which will
reduce storage and transportation cost and efficiency loss.
