Respiratory Infection
Specific Objectives
1. To determine the individual’s knowledge regarding ARI in
terms of :
a. Causes
b. Risk factors/ mode of transmission
c. Common clinical presentation
d. Treatment
e. Possible complications
2. To determine the attitude of an individual
regarding:
a. Individual’s willingness to gain knowledge regarding
the disease
b. Prevention of disease
c. Home/self-treatment
d. Time/occasion when professional treatment should be
sought
e. Medical management
3. To educate elders ages 60 above about
the presence of immunization in the
barangay health center
Strategies/Activities
1. Gather data regarding the morbidity and mortality of ARI
in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Binan, Laguna
2. Identify the high risk age.
3. Develop a plan of approach on educating certain age
group.
4. Educate the (chosen) age group about the common ARI
diseases, prevention and treatment.
5. Educate elders aging 60 and above on the presence of
immunization in the barangay.
