What is Bloomz?
◦ Bloomz is a free app for teachers,
students, and parents. This app
gives teachers a specialized class
‘code’ that they can give out to
their students and parents.
Basically an app that teachers
and students can post to and
only the people in that specific
group can see it.
 Things it can do:
◦ Bloomz allows teachers to post
events, newsletters, assignments, and
much more all on the app. Teachers
can have signups for volunteers
where it will show them when
someone signs up and how many
people are still needed.
 Things it can do:
◦ Teachers can post times for parents to sign
up for parent-teacher conferences.
Teachers can post in the calendar for
each day or for the whole week as a
newsletter. There is a section for
documents where the students can put all
of their work into the folders for parents
/teachers to see.
◦ This section can be used for the students
to document their work, almost like a
portfolio, that they could take with them
Things it can do:

o Teachers can send out

upcoming news that the
parents need to know without
worrying if it ever got home.
On the home section it shows
the teacher how many people
have viewed it, liked it, or
commented on the post.
Examples:
• Teachers can post pictures
and videos of the students
and their work. This way
parents still can see it but
don’t have to worry about
them being on social media.

• If there is an upcoming event

in the class where the
teacher needs volunteers,
they can start a ’signup’. This
way parents can do
everything all from their app.
