Father, give attention to our prayer and our plea for mercy, 1 Lord our God. Hear the cry and the prayer that we pray in your presence this day (1 Kings 8:28) If your people, who are called by your name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then you will hear from heaven, and you will 2 forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14) Blessed is our nation for God is our Lord, we are the people He chooses for His inheritance (Psalms 33:12) He is the stability of our times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge (Isaiah 33:6) 3 For it is God who changes the times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning (Daniel 2:21) As a nation, we arise, we shine, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon us (Isaiah. 60:1) 4 Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) But we rejoice in our confident hope. We are patient in 5 trouble, and keep on praying (Romans 12:12) We declare that we will have no fear of bad news; for our hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord (Psalms 112:7) The Lord is our refuge, the Most High is our shelter. Therefore, no evil will conquer us; no plague will destroy our 6 nation (Psalms 91:9-10) The Lord our God is in our midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over us with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over us with shouts of joy ( Zephaniah 3:17) For we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy
7 nation, God's special possession, that we may declare the
praises of him who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light (1 Peter 2:9) “This is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty."( Zechariah 4:6)
