Being a school head is a twenty-four job because the

school itself is constantly in your thoughts. It has to be,


because as the leader you yourselves are responsible for the
faculty , staff and most importantly the pupils/ students.
Sometimes you lay awake at night thinking
through a difficult problem, other times something
prevents you from sleeping well or enters your
dreams. In many ways you are always “ on the job”
even when you are off or away on vacation, but to
maintain your sanity and a healthy family life you
yourselves must make every effort to draw a line in
the sand, delineate work from home and make
time for your family.
School head must exhibit Leadership.

School head must be adept at building

relationships.

School head must be fair and consistent.

School head must be organized and prepared.

School head must be visionary.

School head must be an excellent listener.

A reflexive pronoun is a special type of


pronoun and is usually used when the object of
a sentence is the same as the subject.

We use a reflexive to make it clear who or what is being


referred to.

A school head’s speech

The No child left behind program _____ taught us to understand that


students _____ need a high school diploma. Every student needs a senior-
secondary education diploma to compete in a 21st century economy. Our
Educational institution _____ is failing when we allow one student to leave without
a high school diploma.
Our goal is 100% graduation rate and we must do everything within our
power to achieve that goal. We cannot afford to focus on the things we cannot
change. We _____ must concentrate on those things we can change and the places
we can make a difference.
I ______ believe that we as educators are models of integrity. We are
held to a higher standard by our communities, by our students and by our
colleagues. We should strive to be a model of integrity and when we falter, we ____
