Multimedia Overview Multimedia – “multi” means more, many and “media” is a form of communication. - is any form of communication that uses more than one media element. - refers to computer-based materials designed to be used on a computer. - it is capable of integrating the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. - originally used to describe learning materials that consisted of book, audio cassette and video cassette.
