Brief of the Activity
Expo Utsav is organized by Junior Chamber International Ranchi since 1996 & it has become not only
the most popular Consumer Fair in the State but also an awaited event in the Social calendar of
Ranchi.

This year Expo Utsav has attained another milestone of the only fair in the state of Jharkhand & Bihar
to have been organized for 15 consecutive years.

Expo Utsav has become a hallmark of consumer fair in this region. This event attracts hundreds of
enthusiastic sellers & thousands of interested buyers.

Expo Utsav provides a platform for manufacturers, dealers and consumers to freely interact and do
business under one roof. It is also an opportunity to launch new products, offer new promotions &
introduce new trends & ideas into the market.

Today there are thousands of manufacturers & lacs of new products entering the market which
requires a common platform, a network to interact with one another. The Expo Utsav is an ideal
attempt that successfully bridges the gap.

Duration: Thursday 30th September 2010 to Monday 04th October 2010.

Inauguration: Thursday 30th September 2010.

What we did in the Exhibition ?

We hired two stalls individually for PHILIPS & ELECTROLUX brands & displayed our high end products at these
stalls to attract eye balls of maximum walk-ins. Staff's present at the stalls gave demo of the products to
individuals & focused on convincing customers & generate secondary sales.

We incepted some attractive offers/schemes to attract maximum footfall at our stall, by promoting these offers
through banners installation in the posh areas, high street markets of the city as well as via distribution of
leaflets beyond the expo/exhibition boundaries. All the offers were sponsored by the dealers.

Offers were:
1. Discount on each & every product ranging from Rs.500 – Rs.2500 depending on the product.
2. Free Gift with every product.
• Electrolux- Kenstar Iron free with Refrigerator, Washing Machine & Air Conditioners.
• Electrolux- Starter Kit Free with Micro Wave.
• Philips- Tata Sky free with LCD & LED ranges.
• Philips- Tea Set free with 14” & 21” Ultra Slim TV’s.

3. Exchange offer on all the products.
