Electrical Power System Course
Description

This course is one of the undergraduate core

subject in the electrical engineering area. This
course will deliver thorough grounding in
electric power systems. It will discuss per-unit
normalizations, symmetrical components and
iterative load flow calculations. This course will
also cover important topics within the power
system, such as protection and DC transmission.
Electrical Power System Objective

• Explain the operation of electric power system,

• Analyze the electric power system modeling,
• Analyze the power flow,
• Analyze the load flow,
• Analyze the electrical line fault,
• Determine the optimization of a power plant
scheduling,
• Use ETAP to design and analyze the power system
models,
