THERMOGRAVIMETRIC ANALYSIS (TGA)
SAMPLE PREPARATION
 It is suggested that maximizing surface area of the sample in a TGA pan improve
resolution and reproducibility of weight loss temperatures
 The sample weight affects the accuracy of weight loss measurement
 10-20mg of sample is preferred
 Whereas if sample volatiles 50-100mg of sample consider adequate.

Experiment conditions
 Heating Rate (10 or 20 C/min)
 Purge gas (Nitrogen is most common gas used)
