TEACHING PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

 Teacher Performance Expectations (TPEs) are a great


way to help new teachers who are still developing
their teaching philosophy and offer detailed
explanations on how to approach different
components of teaching
 TPEs are essentially a set of guidelines that all
teachers are expected to follow in order to ensure
that all students are being treated equally and
effectively

Students – Best practices for teaching different subjects
 (B) Assessing Student Learning – The
importance/purpose of assessments as well as best
practices

engaging for all kids in different age groups
 (D) Planning instruction and Designing Learning
Experiences for Students – Best practices for
developing curriculum and creating lessons to support
students
