THE RULE OF DIFFERENTIAL

f(x) and g(x) differentiable

1. If h(x) = f(x) + g(x) then h’(x) = f’(x) + g’(x)

2. If h(x) = f(x) – g(x) then h’(x) = f’(x) – g’(x)
3. If h(x) = f(x).g(x) then
h’(x) = f’(x).g(x) + f(x).g’(x)

Exercise 1

 Find the f’(x) each f(x) given bellow :

1. f(x) = (3 – 5x)6
2. f(x) = (3x2 – 5x + 1)3
3. f(x) = (3x – 5)–4
4. f(x) = (7 – 2x)7 + (2x + 6)3
5. f(x) = (3x3 + (3 – 5x)2)6
6. f(x) = ((5 + x)4 – (3 – 5x)2)6
