Lack of Advocate for Children in Need
 Guardian Ad Litem has a limited budget and most advocates
work for free.
 There are over 100 children who have been abused or
neglected in North Carolina without an advocate.
 Interns are overworked due to the limited amount of volunteers.
 Supervisors carry over 80 cases due to lack of funds and
volunteers.
 Each child deserves to have someone to advocate for their
safety and well being.
