ECOSYSTEM https://www.nps.gov/articles/aps-v5-i1-c2.htm

• The Denali National Park is the host for

multiple ecosystems such as a lowlands, Taiga
forests, glacial floodplains, scrub tundra, and
subalpine woodlands to name a few.
• These mix of ecosystems is the product of a
history of continuous tectonic collisions, global
heating and cooling, erosion, and volcanic
activity over millions of years ago.
• Due to the occurrences just stated the land is in
a constant cycle of glacial advancement and
retreat coupled with tectonic movement, fire,
and water that continue to shape the land.
