GIFT SHOP

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
ABSTRACT

The idea summarized in creating a standalone system

that can serve as a helping hand for the employee and
the owner of the Gift Shop. We will be using C#
programming language on creating such system.
PROJECT SCOPE

• A system that pushes notification to the owner.

• It can automatically send an email with product
attached, when it hits the predefined number of
items.
• It can generate a report for the owners reference.
OBJECTIVE

• Helps customers to browse for the products.

• Develop our life to be all automated.
METHODOLOGY
• All possible requirements of the
Requirements system to be developed are
captured in this phase and
Analysis documented in a requirement
specification document.

• Helps in specifying hardware and

system requirements and helps in
System Design defining the overall system
architecture

• With inputs from the

system design, the
Implementation system is first developed
in small programs called
unit.
CONTINUATION..

• Post integration the entire

Testing system is tested for any
faults and failures.

• Once the functional and non-

functional testing is done, the
Deployment product is deployed in the
customer environment.

• There are some issues which come

up in the client environment. To fix
those issues, patches are released.
Maintenance Also to enhance the product some
better versions are released.
Maintenance is done to deliver
these changes in the customer
environment.
WHY WATERFALL MODEL?

When replacing or updating an existing system we

conclude that it is better to use waterfall model. In this
model the requirements must be stable because it is
updating an existing system. If there are components
that are usable, then reuse development would also be
appropriate.
