Objectives:
- to establish cooperation and exchange of
information among municipalities for sustainable
Union of and balanced development of the Marmara
Municipalities Region
of Marmara - to strive to establish and generalize democratic,
participative, transparent and accountable
(UMM) concept of local governance
- to provide training services to the union
members’ elected municipal representatives and
municipal staff
AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT
- affective allegiance to the organization
CONTINUANCE COMMITMENT
-employees have financial dependence on the
organization
NORMATIVE COMMITMENT
-employees believe they must work in the
organization due to conscientious and ethical
reasons.
R It has been found out that those working as
subordinates have stronger Continuance
E Commitment in the Union
S Affective Commitment and the Continuance
Commitment are higher in case of male
U workers while Normative Commitment is
L higher in case of female workers
It appears that especially those workers with
T university degree are not quite satisfied with
S their status
