TATA Teleservices was the first to launch CDMA mobile services in India with the
Andhra Pradesh circle.

TTSL operates under the brand name Tata Indicom in various telecom circles of
India.

Tata Teleservices Limited has launched their Photon+ USB data card service in
Kolkata on March 2009. Photon+ is a small USB data card which when you plug
into USB port of your laptop/PC ,will connect you to the high speed (up to 3.1
mbps) broadband Internet through Tata network. It is a mobile Internet Service.

TATA Indicom has 300 photon enabled towers.

This service is presently available only in selected areas of Hyderabad, Kolkata,

Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai, Jammu & Kashmir & North East States.

The Photon+ service will be accessible via both USB Modems and

At present TATA and Reliance are two companies who provide high
speed wireless Internet connection in Kolkata.
Both company claims same speed(3.1Mbps). With different tariff
plan.
Tata Indicom Photon+ offer Huawei. Reliance Netconnect
Broadband+ offers a choice of  Huawei and ZTE. Both companies fixed
their device price same(Rs.3500).
