The document provides a book recommendation from the E6 batch. It summarizes how recommendation systems work by using techniques like matrix factorization and machine intelligence to recommend items to users based on their profiles and previous searches/purchases. It describes using a decision tree approach to classify items into categories based on customer searches, ratings, and a minimum number of characteristics to recommend products users will like while avoiding ones they may dislike.

Items will be recommended on the basis of previous item is searched and correlated with other person purchased the same item
User’s Set Of Items
profile Techniques
Taking an Example with A,B ,C,F(x) &G(x)
A is the set of items being offered B is the item already related(Threshold Value) C is the item being offered Now the case is that a person can like and dislike the given recommended product So F(x) is the disliking of product by a person G(x) is the product a person will like These things can be done using costumer search, ratings We will classify the problem into some sub categories Decision Tree create a model that relies on the values of items in certain characteristics in order to accurately classify a previously unclassified item, using the least number of characteristics possible. Every node of the tree represents a set of items, with restricted values on their characteristics.
