By the end of the session participants will be able to

• How to report activities with its geographical


locations?
• How to report on Mission Results Framework
Indicators?

What is PakInfo?
• PakInfo is a web-based Mission information
management tool designed to track and analyze
Mission funded projects’ information in order to;

– Help Mission manage it portfolio; and


– Meet reporting needs of the Mission and Washington

• PakInfo is available through


https://usaidinfo.usaid.gov using Google Chrome
• Note: PakInfo doesn’t work with any other explorer
like Internet Explorer (IE), Safari, or Firefox

Roles and Responsibilities of AORs/CORs

• Adding/Editing Partner Users Access to PakInfo

Responsibility of Implementing Partners

• Reporting about major activities and linking to its


nearest location (Province/District/Tehsil/Geospatial
Coordinates);

• Populating data on assigned Mission Results


Framework Indicators;

• Upload Necessary Documents.

How to get access to PakInfo

• Send the following information to your AOR/COR or


PakInfo Admin.

– Name (Last, First)


– Valid/official email
– Organization Name
– Project/Award Name

Access to Pak Info Step - 1

• You will receive Welcome Email from USAIDInfo


with guidance to access PakInfo including;
– USAIDInfo/PakInfo link
– Temporary password

Enter your email and temporary password

Access to Pak Info Step-2

• On entering the temporary password, the system will


ask for password change

• On changing the password, you will get access to


PakInfo

Password Resetting

• Password will work for 90 days and system will be


asking for password change after every 90 days;

• You can use Forgot Password at any time to recover


your password;

• If the system shows at any time user expiry message,


send an email to your AOR/COR or PakInfo
administrator for updating expiry date.

Who can do what as Partner User

• Any partner user registered can update information in


PakInfo related to the Award

• Chief of Party (CoP) has the authority to edit/update


as well as submit data

Frequency of Reporting
Partner will Report Quarterly through PakInfo

Guideline for Entering Different Types
of Activities

What Activities Should be Entered?
• Planned with tentative start/end dates and location. If
the Tehsil/District are unknown, partner can start with
Province-wide & in case Province is unknown,
Partner can start with Islamabad.
• Ongoing with exact start date, all details and
planned end date
• Completed with exact details

Note: Once entered, every activity will be available for


editing by end of each quarter and user must be
updating any change to the activity.

Entering Tangible/Hard Activity
In case of tangible activities, partners need to enter the
exact location (Province/District/Tehsil) and coordinates
of the activity.

• Construction or Renovation of school: The activity site will be


location of the school (although students may be coming from
other places). Partner will enter exact coordinates of the school.
• Dam construction: Enter the coordinates of the dam as the
activity/project site.
• Roads and water channels: Two locations one each for the
start and end point across the tehsil and district. If the activity is
passing through multiple tehsils or districts, it must be reported
in all the tehsils and districts.

Trainings & Scholarship Programs
• Select the province/district/tehsil of beneficiaries with
default coordinates and not the venue;
• In case of multiple tehsils, replicate the same activity
in all the tehsils;
• Applicable to local & international trainings;
• If beneficiary residence location is different from the
location of his/her services then nomination tehsil will
be considered.
• Scholarship Program: One site for each beneficiary,
that is, number of location needs to be equal to
number beneficiaries in that tehsil/district.

Technical Assistance/ Policy Advise, Advocacy and
Media Outreach
• Technical Assistance to Federal Government: Activity site
will be Islamabad.
• TA to Provincial Government: Provincial capital will be the
project site.
• TA to District Government: Beneficiary District as project
site.
• In case TA has a specific location, like dam, the exact
location(s) should be reported.
• Projects working on Advocacy and Media Outreach can
apply the same formula.
Note: Stakeholder Workshop/Launching Ceremony should19
be reported at one place
School Supplies
• In case books and other material supplied to schools,
the coordinates of the school needs be entered.
• If the coordinates are unknown, then default tehsil
coordinates can be used.
• For multiple schools to be reported in a tehsil, enter
the default coordinates multiple times, so that,
number of points (coordinates) equal to number of
schools.
• Mention the name of the school and total supplies in
the description.
• Similarly activity implemented in Hospital or Basic
Health Unit (BHU), coordinates needs to be entered 20
What to include in Activity Description?

• Name of Sub-Partner (if any)


• Name of Institution (School/College/Hospital)
• Sex of Scholarship beneficiary.
• Estimated Construction beneficiary disaggregated
by Sex.
• Detail of the Activity: Partner needs to explain
enough about the activity that makes it clear to the
reader not familiar with project/award.

Options for data entry will be available based on the

Partners will report on MSF Indicators assigned by
AOR/COR for reporting on the following fields

Indicators Disaggregations

• All the disaggregation with the accept of Male/Female


has been removed from PakInfo.
• Partner will only report high level figure through
PakInfo
• All the disaggregation in the form of raw data will be
reported to PakData@usaid.gov

Submission and Review of Partner’s Quarterly Data
• Within one month after each quarter: Partner Update
and Submit their data (the system will lock further
update for Partners)

• One Week: AOR/COR Review the Data; and

– Accept submission: Select [Approved] if all data is correct.

– Reject submission: Click [In Revision]. This will unlock the


page for the partner to make any require corrections.
