Tripura the ancient home of bodos the north eastern state of india
located by the side of bangladesh. Handloom weaving is the most
important craft in this state which include riha, lungi, saree, chaddar.

The nagas set great value on heir costume worn on ceremonies or

assamies fabrics, ornamentation were either knitted on the fabric after the
weaving or worked along with the weaving.

of weaving in a dream from the goddess Podidarbi. The color
and design have there symbolic meaning among some of the
