Step 1
Double keying of Manuscripts

 Each page of the manuscripts will be keyed in


by two persons.
 The page setup will be based on client's
specifications (like how many lines per page).
 Two persons are engaged in keying in the
manuscripts to compare the output from them
and take the best one to the next stage.
Step 2
Compare

The process of 'Compare' will be done to extract the best


and final contents from data entry. Compare will be done
by trained professionals to even look into minute details of
the manuscripts.
Step 3
Proof Reading/Quality Check

Proof Reading/Quality Check are almost similar steps at this


stage.
The persons in-charge of these processes will ensure typos free
contents and page set up as per the client's specifications.
Step 4
Page layout on Adobe
Pagemaker

The output from PR/QC stage will be


flowed on Pagemaker for layout as per
client's specifications.
Step 5: Proof Reading

Proof reading at this stage will be done by highly


experienced proof readers to rule out typos and
missing of texts, images or illustrations. At this
stage proof reading and quality check of the
output from 'Compare' stage done to avoid even
small typos and other minor mistakes that would
have escaped from the 'Compare' stage.
Step 6: Quality Check

The QC persons, who will handle this stage,


would have the mix of knowledge both in layout
and proof reading to find errors in pagination, text,
illustration and images.
Step 7: Output/Dispatch
to Client

The QC passed pages will be


dispatched to the client
